Coal Burnt By Paper Industries

A variety of industries use Underground Coal Gasification produces heat and by-products. Separated ingredients of coal (such as methanol and ethylene) are used in making plastics, tar, synthetic fibers, fertilizers, and medicines. The concrete and paper industries also burn large amounts of coal.

The product gas from Underground Coal Gasification is a combustible syngas containing hydrogen, carbon monoxide and methane (H2, CO CH4). It can be used at surface for heating, power generation, hydrogen production, or the manufacturer of key liquid fuels such as diesel fuel or methanol.
